I love, love, love this Ulta location! The gals in this store are so sweet and welcoming. They "sell you" to the appropriate level and truly listen to understand the need. Often times we think we want a certain item, but don't know/understand that it won't meet the desired needs we are trying to accomplish. These gals dig to the true issue at hand and make recommendations accordingly. They're so fun and spirited!
**** words of wisdom**** if you want your hair dyed, go elsewhere! They were inexperienced and terrible about the entire situation. The manager was unprofessional and useless. It will be a long time before my hair looks normal again after what she did. Don't put yourself through that stress!
The Salon at Ulta was absolutely terrible! They are not worth the price you pay and they had the audacity to charge me more for services to try and fix my hair after they messed it up the first time.
I've been shopping at this location for more than a year now. Today was the last straw! The girl at the checkout (just before noon on 11/8, wish I had asked for her name) was the least helpful person I think I've ever encountered. I stopped in to buy some conditioner a couple weeks ago & the spot on the shelf was empty. I stopped in again today & its still out, so I asked about it. I was told that they "rarely get that one." Which seems strange since I've been buying it at that store for at least the last year with no issues. She told me I could buy it online. Well, I'm not paying for shipping on a $6 item. So I asked if she could order it for me, of course the answer was "no." That's it, no offer to check another store, no offer to check on getting it in stock again, nothing helpful at all. Thanks Ulta, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, because obviously customers are a bother to your employees.
Great location! The girls were very helpful. They saw me having trouble finding things and picking the right color foundation so they stopped to help me find what I was looking for
Let me begin by saying that I've had my hair dyed with no issues for the last 10 years. I recently moved and had to find a new stylist so I thought I'd try ulta as I go there for my hair supplies.
I have been getting my hair cut and colored at Ulta for a few years now. Due to my erratic schedule, I would often call the day before and take whatever slot was available with whichever stylist was available. I was always very happy and could easily say that they are are excellent stylists and since I have dificult thick frizzy hair - and they make it look good, I'd venture to call them artists - especially Kim & Ashley who I have seen most often. They are always friendly and do listen very well to what you are wanting.
I went in and had my "Inspiration". I wanted to have highlights. Becca, although very nice, is very inexperienced and the turnout made me cry. She dyed my hair orange. Sh then immediately schedule a follow up appt to fix the issue. When I went back she said I had to speak with her manager. The manager had said she wouldn't charge me ! Mind you, I'm in bc she screwed up my hair in the first place. So becca tries dying my hair again... guess what? Still orange and now my hair is frizzy and looks fried. Then she hands me a bill for $50. I was so upset with the entire experience. You'd think stylists would have pride in their work and they wouldn't want someone leaving their chair looking like a total wreck and disappointed! All she said was I could come back to put in more toner! Now-- they already charged me more the second time and it looked far worse! I had to pay an additional $200 at a different salon to get my hair fixed but they wouldn't touch my hair for two weeks bc if the damage becca caused.
