Purchased a 2015 Chevy Colorado a couple months ago and have had nothing but issues with the vehicle. The first issue came within weeks of purchase and I took my truck into the dealership to get fixed. There was an emissions issue and it was causing a gas smell to start coming from my truck. I did not put but 20-30 miles on this vehicle before this happened. The mechanics must of not of known that I installed a dash cam because I caught all voice and actions on camera. They called me 3 days later and informed me my vehicle was finished with repairs. I checked the dash cam and saw that my truck was only being worked on for less than 1 hour 3 days prior to them contacting me about it "being finished". The last video showed them washing it and pulling it behing the dealership. 1 month passes and I am in Texas working and helping out with the hurricane that recently hit Houston, my truck starts having the same issue. I take my truck to a local dealership which fixes the issues within an hour (still dealing with flooded vehicles but the decided it was an easy fix and they could get me out fast, which was very helpful). The dealership in Dickinson, Texas informed me that the repairs made by Hare Chevrolet were performed incorrectly. Luckily the dealership in Texas got my truck taken care of and I could get back to helping individuals impacted by the damages of the storm.
They rely on the extended warranty by messing with your vehicles. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION!
Let me start out by saying we have 2 Chevrolet vehicles from Hare and have them both serviced exclusively at Hare. Since the new ownership group took over the service department has steadily gone downhill. It now takes two hours or more for a simple oil change & tire rotation. Yesterdays service had the service tech try to sell my wife on about $1500 of extra services. I have been there dozens of times over the years (Purchased my 1st Hare Chevy in 2000) and have never has a sales push like that. It's a shame to see what happened to a Great Dealership!!!
Chris Parker was great to work with. It was a smooth and simple process. He helped us understand everything that needed to be done with the whole process. He stayed later than he needed, let us test drive multiple vehicles , ran reports, answered any questions that we had, and made us feel right at home.
Bought a car here in the past. Salesman doesn't work there anymore. I see why everything at that place sucks!!! People service and price. I will never go back and would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone. All you are is a number. Go to Blossom Chevy. Great people who really appreciate you business.
Hare Chevy service does a great job of taking care of our two Malibu's! When they identify problems, they always provide info on whether items need to be addressed immediately or if we can hold for a future service appointment. Look for their timely service coupons too. They do fabulous work!
Luckily this only cost about $200 out of my own pocket due to the extended warranty. This extended warranty was basically "shoved in my face" during the sell and I could not walk away without it. With the voice audio that I have about the prior repair from Hare it shows they are scamming the extended warranty company. Watch buying vehicles from this location because they lie and who they have working in the repair show are disrespectful and dishonest. Also, always purchase a dash cam that can be hidden so you can see the horrible actions that go on when you leave your vehicle with them.
