I worked very hard and was incredibly dedicated to this Cabela's for 2 1/2 years before the store even opened. I gave a very professional and courteous 2 weeks notice and was told I could stay and finish my time there, and then I was sent home very rudely less than an hour later. I didn't even get so much as a thanks for my hard work or any appreciation for my time spent there. Most all employees at this store are wonderful people, however, all Management at this store is atrocious all the way to the top GM. I would not recommend this place to work to anyone. However, if you're a customer, just complain and you'll get whatever you want. That's how it goes at this Cabela's in Noblesville.
POOR management !! They advertised an item and offered a manufacturers rebate of $100 so I go online to order and it says back ordered, even though the sale just started. I called online customer service and was told that item will be available in 3-4 weeks which would put it out of the time frame date required by the manufacturer for the $100 rebate. I was told, management is well aware of that and there was also another similar item that they were discussing having the same issue. Thanks for that information, nice to know it wasn't just a fluke. You would think as a large retailer, they would honor the sale price and pick up the manufactures rebate and adjust the price accordingly when the item came in as they are the ones who put the item on sale with zero inventory. I shop frequently at Gander Mountain and have yet to see an issue like this, and if it did occur, I am quite sure they would take care of their customer instead of driving them off to another retailer.
Always a fun time visiting these stores. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in their products. We were able to grab several Christmas gifts at great prices. It's a great place to spend the afternoon. Always clean bathrooms and store. Highly recommend this as a stop on any trip.
This Cabela' s does a great job having a great selection. Almost anything you need for outdoor/camping/hunting can be found here. Gun selection is awesome. The only downfall is the typical retail store mantra and people: prices are full retail with little sales or savings and the people can be rude. It's the only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5. Despite the people, staff is always friendly and appear happy.
This Cabela's is pretty new. It's typically not that busy, and everything is well stocked. Love the ammo selection. The warm nuts by the checkouts are always tempting. Helpful employees.
