I adopted a 8 week old kitten from Petsmart over the weekend, and in the adoption kit we received a coupon for a free Banfield pet exam. We usually go to Noblesville Pet Wellness clinic but since this was free we decided to go ahead and use it. Let me just say that I have been to a lot of vets in my lifetime and this was by far one of the lamest experiences I have had. The whole visit felt very rushed. The vet cared more about trying to recommend Science Diet food than actually examining my kitten. (Which by the way, is CRAP food). He asked if I had any concerns and of course I mentioned the usual things kittens deal with like ear mites, and fleas and was told that it would cost us another $30 just for him to look at my cat to determine if he truly had ear mites or not....ridiculous. I had to remind him twice to comb through my kittens hair to determine if he had any flea dirt on him or not. He seemed very scatter brained and did not truly to seem to care about the condition of my kitten. Needless to say I would not recommend this vet to anyone, it's honestly not even worth the free exam because the entire time they are just trying to sell you crap that you don't need or could get for half the price somewhere else.
Dr. Bodapeti or however you spell it is dangerous! My puppy was yelping and in a lot of pain for THREE days with ONE shot! Never had an issue with Dr. Prewitt. Prewitt was always nice and gentle with my puppy and my puppy loves her! But now today, my puppy goes to the vet for issues and shocker, she gets Bodapeti and I get a call saying it's going to be $152?! WHAT?! I'm on the wellness plan. I was told that a skin culture is not included in the plan, so she's refusing to find out what's wrong with my puppy. Nobody can afford $50 a freaking month for the plan and $150 per visit! That is outrageous!! I don't care what it takes, I'm cancelling my plan with them! Chesterfield Animal Hospital takes better care of your loved ones!
One of my friends just took her new puppy here and it was horrible. Should have been in and out but thought up lots of unnecessary stuff.
Our dog had recurring issues with vomiting and diarrhea, hair loss, and lethargy. We took her to different vets for over 2 years, and they kept suggesting we switch her food to grain free and prescribed steroids. The steroids would help for a short time, but she kept falling ill and it got worse and worse. At 5 years old, she went from 50 lbs to 35 lbs in 2 months, her legs would give out and her eyes began rolling back. She was ultimately dying a slow death. We took her to Banfield in Noblesville, she couldn't walk and kept wetting herself. They immediately admitted her and started he on fluids. The vet, who spoke English, after asking us many questions, suggested a test and said he had an idea of what may be wrong. He diagnosed her with a serious life long illness and gave us some treatment options. She now gets a once per month shot, a daily low dose steroid, and all the treats she wants. She has gained back her weight, and while she still struggles she is doing much better. There is no cure for her disease, but because of the great staff and very smart vets Banfield, we still have our sweet pup. I am eternally thankful for the kindness and thoroughness of the care received at Banfield Noblesville. These comments about them not speaking English or giving poor care are absolutely absurd. People that throw around senseless insults like that are generally ignorant.
I have been going to this Veterinary clinic for nearly 3 years! I started coming to this location when I adopted my first rescue, after he was having some health issues and then was diagnosed with worms. I not only brought my first pup here but I also started bringing my second rescue here as well. She was diagnosed with giardia shortly after I had adopted her and the team at Banfield, understood my situation and worked with me to get her, her medications! The thing that I absolutely lovvvveee about this clinic is that I know my babies are in safe hands. They literally run up to the reception desk just to receive love and attention! Not only that but as we all know sometimes your pet expenses can go through the roof. I can talk through what is necessary to treat my animals and what is most cost effective. I don't believe that it is all about money with them, because if it was I would have spent thousands with them for things that they didn't need. Both of my animals are on their wellness plan and I love it. All of their yearly shots and exams are covered and with my two I never know what may come up, so I would much rather be prepared then be unprepared. It is nice to know that my prescriptions are discounted and for my babies to be seen the exam visit is waived. At the end of the day you will have to pay for prescriptions and x-rays, and tests, but what veterinary clinic doesn't charge you for those type of things. If you want your animals to receive top notch care, then this is the place to go!
